The Electric Company has a long history of working with youth groups to help bring projects to life. As we all know music and drama are great ways to engage young people and focus their energy. We are not youth workers but our staff have advanced Disclosure Scotland (SCRO) checks which permit them to work in close association with young people and can therefore work alongside youth workers without undue concern.

Some examples of the work we have undertaken include:

Lighting of film locations for youth-made movies

Lighting of stage shows, including drama, musicals, band nights and talent shows

Lighting of school shows including prize giving events, prom nights and graduation celebrations.

Training young people how to light a show and supervising them at "real" events.
