Safety Electrical: There's no point in having a stunning show if its unsafe or unreliable. All of our equipment is subject to a rigorous programme of preventative maintenance to guarantee its optimum performance, and ensure that it complies with best practice in the industry. To this end our equipment is of course regularly PAT tested, both on a cyclical basis and each time any maintenance or alteration work is undertaken. On complex projects which has pre-planned on site we will bring a portable PAT tester along to save us all both time and effort. Should your venue require evidence of such testing then we are happy to provide it, but please put us in touch with the venue staff in advance so that we can avoid any unnecessary delays. Likewise method statements and risk assessments can be presented for any aspect of our work.
Rigging: We are regularly asked to attend venues such as festival sites and theatres to assist with equipment rigging supplied by other companies or in-house equipment. Our staff have strict instructions not to assist with the rigging or installation of anything that looks suspect or has not clearly been subject to the same safety standards as we would expect of our own gear. Both Bob and Steve hold nationally recognised qualifications in rigging and lifting operations. If in doubt - please ask, we want your production to be as successful, stress-free and as safe as you do.
Staff Our staff are all trained to use the full range of equipment in our hire stock and have many years of experience in delivering successful shows. A brief look at our past projects will in itself demonstrate the wide array of experience that we can offer in support of your production
Permanent installation work will be delivered by our in-house qualified electricians who are able to design, install, commission and certify any installation. Likewise we have qualified staff who can assist in liaison with local authority planning and building control departments to ensure permanent installations meet local requirements.
For projects include activities involving children - all of our regular staff have been cleared by Disclosure Scotland to the enhanced disclosure level for work with young people. Details are of course available on request.
