Technical Crew and Staff
Whilst the majority of our contracts involve the provision of equipment with associated staff, we regularly provide experienced staff to assist with touring productions, one-off events and festival. Such staff can include lighting and sound engineers, lighting designers, installation electricians, stage crew, loading and support staff.
2006: Tiny Dancers Supporting Paolo Nutini, Lit by Bob Lamb
2006: Celebration In the Park Supporting the organisers and performing acts we supplied staff to assist with stage management and rigging for the performances, installation of a generator, plus producing a video record of the event.
2006: Radio One Big Weekend Supporting Radio One and the various Lighting and Sound companies involved in the event, the Electric Company provided stage crew for both the Main Stage and New Music Stage, assisting with artist backline, lighting and sound installations.
2006: Rick Butler (lit by Bob Lamb) For this one-night special appearance at Fat Sams, The Electric Company provided an engineer to operate the existing in-house lighting
2006: Dundee Schools Youth Music Initiative (lit by Steve Page) A one-evening event we provided an engineer to design, rig and operate lighting using a venue's existing lighting rig
2005: Dundee Youth Media Group (project led by Steve Page) This project involved our engineers working directly with young people over a period of six months, giving instruction in stage and video lighting, set design, video camera skills and video editing skills.
2005: Celebration In The Park In support of a local sound Hire company, The Electric Company supplied an engineer to install and manage the generators used on the main stage
Photos are taken at events as and when time and opportunities permit - clearly our first priority is to provide the best lighting production possible rather than take photos. If you particularly want photos taken at your event then we can certainly provide a skilled photographer - just let us know.
