2006: Killer At Camp Project led by Steve Page Continuing our involvement with Youth Work and the Duke Of Edinburgh's Award in Dundee (www.dundeeopenaward.co.uk). We Provided exterior and interior location lighting, power and specialised rigging for the filming of a short crime drama. This small project was a technical challenge in that the equipment had to withstand sub-zero temperatures and heavy snowfall in a very remote countryside location, whilst due to site restrictions it had to be installed after dark, two hours before the start of filming without allowing any footprints in the snow to be in view of the cameras. In addition we also arranged transport for the entire cast and support staff and provided qualified outdoor instructors to look after the cast during filming in this difficult environment.
2005: Dundee Youth Media Group Project led by Steve Page This project involved our engineers working directly with young people over a period of six months, giving instruction in stage and video lighting, set design, video camera skills and video editing skills. As well as gaining an insight into production skills, the young people gained accreditation for their efforts through the Duke Of Edinburgh's Award
2004: Dundee University Students Association Project led by Steve Page In addition to the operation of the in-house stage and club lighting, we provided animation and video performances projected onto the four large screens surrounding the main hall dance floor. This project continued throughout Fresher's week events and a regular and highly successful club night run throughout that year.
PHOTO & VIDEO SERVICES
Photography included on this website offers an insight into the quality of still photos we can provide to support any event. Our staff often take a camera along to events just in case the opportunity arises for its use, but this is by no means guaranteed. Should you require photos of your event then we can provide a photographer specifically for that purpose - just let us know
Video is available on request, our standard set up is a single HD/DV camera with a dedicated operator. For more complex productions we can add additional DV cameras in either static positions or with operators. Again - just let us know.
Note - It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that any required permissions/licences are in place, and in particular for events involving children, the permission of all parents is obtained prior to the start of photography or filming.
